The
pathologies treated
range from
degenerative diseases
(arthrosis of the knee, hip and shoulder) to be treated with prosthesis implantations,
to those more typically associated with sports
, both for the lower limb (ligament and meniscal pathologies) and for the upper limb (tendon pathologies and shoulder instability).
Hospitalisation times for pathologies treated arthroscopically range from one to two days, while for operations with the insertion of hip, knee or shoulder prostheses, the operated patient is transferred on the fifth day to the Functional Rehabilitation Unit so as not to interrupt the educational programme.
